Cralonin is a homeopathic medicine used for heart diseases. It is used in adults for the treatment of old age heart, nervous heart disorders, feeling of pressure and tightness in the heart area (angina pectoris). In adolescents aged 12 to under 18 years it is recommended for the treatment of nervous heart disorders. It contains 45% alcohol by volume and should not be taken over a long period of time without medical advice. The medicinal product should not be used in children and adolescents up to under 18 years of age with old-age heart and with a feeling of pressure and tightness in the heart area (angina pectoris). It should also only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is 10 drops every half to one hour, at most 12 times a day, for acute conditions. In chronic conditions, 10 drops should be taken 3 times a day. Use in adolescents with nervous heart disorders should only take place after consultation with a doctor. Side effects may occur, such as temporary reddening of the skin on the face (flushing), palpitations and increase in pulse rate, oedema, dizziness, nausea and mild stomach complaints.
