Instructions for use of the article Melolin 20x10cm Wound dressings Sterile The Melolin wound dressing is made of a cotton-polyester mixture and is particularly absorbent. The polyester coating on the wound side reduces the risk of adhesion to the wound and allows for a painless dressing change. The good exudate absorption allows longer dressing change intervals and economical care. The back of the dressing is water repellent to minimise moisture penetration. Melolin cushions and protects the wound from external influences. It is suitable for the treatment of post-operative wounds, cuts, abrasions and minor burns. Melolin can be cut without fraying. A secondary dressing for fixation is required, e.g. CUTIFIX Stretch or OPSITE FLEXIFIX. The dressings are latex-free.
