Instructions for use of the article Cutimed Hydro L Hydrocolloid dressing 5x25 cm Thin Product characteristics: - Cutimed Hydro L is a thin hydrocolloid dressing measuring 5.0 cm x 25.0 cm. - The dressing regulates the moist wound climate for targeted wound management. - Cutimed Hydro is a range of sterile, latex-free, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressings. - The hydrocolloids absorb the wound exudate and form a stable gel that conforms to the wound. - The vertical absorption of the exudate keeps the wound edges dry and reduces the risk of maceration. - The dressing optimally seals the wound to minimise contamination by fluids and bacteria. - Cutimed Hydro is waterproof, provides a secure hold and can be removed in one piece. - Cutimed Hydro L consists of a wound contact layer of hydrocolloids with a top layer of semi-permeable polyurethane film. The dressing is latex-free. Indications for use: - Cutimed Hydro L is suitable for dry to low exuding wounds. - Suitable for lacerations, minor abrasions, 1st and 2nd degree burns, lacerations or cuts and postoperative wound closures. Duration of application: - The duration of application depends on the wound condition, such as the amount of wound exudate.
