Summary: Atrauman Ag Silver 5 x 5 cm dressings are a non-adherent wound contact dressing for the treatment of chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, diabetic leg ulcers and pressure ulcers. They can also be used for burns up to second degree. The dressings are made of polyamide fibres coated with elemental silver. The backing material is soft and thin, which allows close contact with the wound bed and enables atraumatic dressing changes. Atrauman Ag does not contain paraffin and cares for the wound edges to prevent maceration. During application, the compress size should be adapted to the wound and fixed with a sterile secondary dressing to absorb the wound exudate. The impregnation of the dressings contains caprylic/capric/myristic/stearic triglycerides, bis-diglycerylpolyacyladipate-2 and macrogol 2000.
