Optive Ud eye drops contain an artificial tear fluid that has been specially developed to permanently lubricate the surface of the eye.These eye drops are particularly effective in relieving dry eye symptoms and providing a long-lasting comfortable feeling.The unique dual action consists of wetting and osmoprotection, which enables long-lasting relief of symptoms.

These eye drops are safe to use with all types of contact lenses.If other eye drops are used, an interval of at least five minutes should be maintained.

Mode of action

Optive Ud eye drops are characterized by their special formulation, which offers both wetting and osmoprotection.This dual mechanism of action not only helps lubricate the surface of the eye, but also helps restore the health of the ocular surface.The active ingredients in Optive Ud eye drops are sodium carboxymethylcellulose, also known as sodium carmellose, a wetting agent that stabilizes the tear film, and glycerin, a non-hazing, long-acting moisturizer.

The eye drops also contain the compatible solutes erythritol and L-carnitine.These substances protect the corneal epithelial cells from damage, restore osmotic balance and normalize cell function.

One milliliter of Optive Ud eye drops contains the following active ingredients: 5 milligrams of carmellose sodium and 9 milligrams of glycerol.The other ingredients included are levocarnitine, erythritol, Purite in an amount of 0.1 milligrams and water for injection purposes.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, this product should not be used.

Dosage

If necessary, one or two drops of Optive Ud eye drops can be dripped into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s).For further information on use, please read the package leaflet.
