Optive UD eye drops are a product used to relieve dry eyes. They contain a unique formula that provides wetting and osmoprotection. This not only allows for moisturisation of the ocular surface, but also helps to restore the health of the ocular surface. The main active ingredients in the eye drops are sodium carboxymethylcellulose (a wetting agent) and glycerin (a moisturiser). They also contain erythritol and L-carnitine, which protect the corneal epithelial cells and normalise cell function. Optive UD eye drops are available in multi-dose vials and single-doseophthioles and can be used with contact lenses. The dosage consists of one to two drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye. People with known hypersensitivities to the ingredients should avoid use.
