Directions for use of the article Zintona Capsules: Zintona capsules contain the active ingredient ginger rhizome powder 250 mg. They are used to prevent the symptoms of motion sickness (kinetosis), such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting. The use of Zintona capsules is contraindicated in people with hypersensitivity to ginger rhizome powder and/or any of the other ingredients of the medicinal product. In gallstone disease, Zintona Capsules should only be used after consultation with a doctor. Side effects such as heartburn may occasionally occur when using Zintona capsules. Direct contact with the capsules may cause hypersensitivity reactions of the skin and respiratory tract. Adults and children over 6 years of age should take 2 hard capsules half an hour before travelling and then take 2 more capsules every 4 hours unchewed with sufficient liquid. The daily dose should not exceed 10 capsules. The duration of use is not limited, but the information under "Precautions and warnings" should be observed. In addition to ginger rhizome powder, Zintona capsules also contain highly dispersed silicon dioxide, gelatine, titanium dioxide, sodium dodecyl sulphate and indigocarmine. The medicine should be stored at room temperature away from moisture. Zintona capsules are available without prescription in original packs of 10, 20 and 50 hard capsules.
