Product properties: Mefix is an air-permeable and transversely stretchable fleece for the full-surface fixation of dressings. The transverse extensibility of Mefix also allows application over joints. The water-emulsion based polyacrylate scraper ensures gentle and secure adhesion of Mefix. Size: 10 m x 2.5 cm - Length-marked protective film allows easy removal and economical cutting to size - Wave-shaped perforated protective film for easy handling - Skin-friendly, solvent-free, water-emulsion based polyacrylate adhesive ensures secure and gentle fixation - Soft, elastic and non-absorbent non-woven fabric for high wearing comfort Application: Mefix can be used, among other things, for the fixation of dressings, compresses, catheters and cannulas. The porous structure of the non-woven ensures permeability to air and water vapour. The material is stretchable, adapts to body shapes and allows body movements without slipping. In addition, it is non-absorbent and prevents blood and other fluids from soaking through. The water-based polyacrylate adhesive is skin-friendly and allows for secure fixation. Mefix can be quickly cut to the desired length.
