Instructions for use of the article Mefix Fixation Fleece 10 mx5 cm: Mefix is an air-permeable and transversely stretchable fleece for the full-surface fixation of dressings. It can also be used over joints. The solvent-free, water-emulsion-based polyacrylate adhesive ensures secure adhesion. The protective film is marked and perforated for easy removal and cutting. The non-woven fabric is soft, elastic and non-absorbent for high wearing comfort. Mefix can be used for fixation of dressings, compresses, catheters and cannulas. The porous structure of the non-woven fabric allows air and water vapour permeability. It adapts to the body shapes and allows freedom of movement without slipping. Mefix is non-absorbent and prevents blood and other fluids from soaking through. The skin-friendly water-based polyacrylate adhesive ensures secure fixation. The protective paper is marked and perforated to facilitate application of the dressing. Mefix is made of lightweight, elastic polyester non-woven and is protected by an easy-to-remove film.
