Summary: Gilt solution contains the active ingredient clotrimazole and is used to treat fungal infections such as athlete's foot, skin fungus and nail infections. It is also effective against yeast and other types of fungi. The solution is applied directly to the affected areas of the skin and should be used 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is usually 4 weeks. Side effects may include skin reactions such as redness, burning and stinging. The solution must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. The solution should not be applied to the breast during pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are no known interactions with other medicines. In addition to clotrimazole, the solution also contains propylene glycol, isopropanol and macrogol 400 as excipients.
