Information for use of the article HEWENEURAL 1% ampoules: - HEWENEURAL 1% ampoules contain lidocaine hydrochloride as the active ingredient. - They are used within the framework of neural therapeutic principles of application. - The package leaflet contains important information on risks and side effects that should be observed before use. - The medicinal product should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics of the acid amide type, severe disturbances of the cardiac conduction system, acute failure of cardiac output or shock. - Particular caution should be exercised if the medicinal product is to be used in patients with renal or hepatic disease or if the injection is to be made into an inflamed area. - Before use, the doctor should ensure that the circulation is well replenished and carry out careful circulatory monitoring. - If allergic to lidocaine hydrochloride, there may be cross-allergy to other acid amide local anaesthetics. - There is an increased risk of central nervous poisoning when used in the cervical-head region. - To avoid side effects, certain points should be observed, such as the use of low dosages, avoidance of a vasoconstrictor additive and correct positioning of the patient. - When using Heweneural 1%, interactions with other medicinal products, especially anticoagulants, should be considered.
