Naratriptan Hennig MIGR2.5 is a medicine for the acute treatment of migraine attacks. It contains the active ingredient naratriptan and comes in the form of film-coated tablets. The dosage is one tablet at the beginning of the migraine attack, with the option of a second tablet no earlier than four hours after the first. No more than two tablets in total should be taken within 24 hours. The medicine works by constricting the dilated blood vessels in the head and stops the release of messenger substances that cause pain and inflammation. It also relieves accompanying symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness and sensitivity to light. The use of Naratriptan Hennig may be contraindicated if you have certain pre-existing conditions or are using other medicines at the same time.
