Instructions for use of the article Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive: Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive is a nasal ointment based on high-quality White Vaseline and flavoured with essential oils. As a first-class active substance, it contains the purely natural moisturising factor Natural Emser Salt. When applied to the nose, it forms a fine protective film on the nasal mucous membrane, regulating the release of moisture and making it more difficult for harmful substances to be absorbed. The discreet aromatic substances provide a pleasant feeling of freshness without irritating the mucous membrane. Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive is recommended for dry and irritated nasal mucous membranes, supportive treatment for colds, age-related nasal dryness, allergic complaints to protect against allergens and for nasal care. It can be used when the nasal mucous membrane, especially in the area of the nasal entrance, is too dry and/or irritated, e.g. in the case of rhinitis and constant blowing of the nose, dry indoor air, increased crust and bark formation or also in the context of age-related nasal dryness. Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive should be used several times a day as needed, especially in the evening before going to bed. A lentil-sized piece of nasal ointment is inserted deep into both nostrils and distributed inside the nose by pressing on the nostrils or simply applied to the inner nasal surfaces and the skin around the outer nostril. Avoid drawing the nasal ointment strongly into the nasal cavity to prevent possible entrainment into the deeper airways. After use, the base of the tube should be wiped off and the tube should be well closed. For hygienic reasons, a nasal ointment should only be used by one person at a time. Please note that the expiry date on the pack should be observed. Opened packs should not be used for longer than 12 months. Keep the pack out of reach of children. For sore skin and mucous membranes at the nasal entrance, Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive soothes the burning sensation and supports the self-healing process. The ointment can be spread by pressing on the nostrils or applied with a cotton bud. Used before going to bed, Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive reliably helps to keep the nose moist until the morning hours.
