The active ingredient dexpanthenol

Dexpanthenol is a precursor to the vitamin pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and is known for its wound healing properties.It supports the healing of already damaged cells and thus contributes to a rapid recovery of the irritated nasal mucosa.Dexpanthenol also supports the treatment of dry nasal mucosa.

nasic-cur contains: 5 mg dexpanthenol, disodium hydrogen phosphate 12-water as an excipient, potassium dihydrogen phosphate as an excipient, sodium chloride as an excipient, purified water as an excipient and 0.02 mg benzalkonium chloride as an excipient.

Area of application

To support the healing of damage (lesions) in dry nasal mucosa.

Dosage

Adults and children give 1-2 sprays (5 - 10 mg of dexpanthenol) into each nostril three to four times a day.Do not use nasic-cur for longer than four weeks without medical or dental advice.Symptoms of overdose after using this medicine are not yet known.

Intake

Intended for use in the nose.Remove the protective cap from the spray head.Before the first use, pump several times until an even spray comes out.Insert the spray head into the nostrils and pump 1 to 2 times each.After use, wipe the spray head for hygiene reasons.For all further applications, the dosing spray is immediately ready for use.After use, wipe the spray head for hygiene reasons and put the protective cap back on.The application can be carried out regardless of the time of day.

Patient information

There are no special precautions to be taken.Driving and operating machines do not require any special precautions.Store drug out of reach of children.You must not use the medicine after the stated expiry date.This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.

How do I use nasic®-cur?

Adults and children give 1 to 2 sprays (5 to 10 mg of dexpanthenol) three to four times a day into each nostril while holding the bottle vertically.
