Summary: Antifungol HEXAL 3 vaginal cream is used to treat fungal infections of the vagina. This cream contains the active ingredient clotrimazole and is used to treat inflammation and discharge caused by fungi and yeasts (mostly Candida) as well as superinfections with clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria. It is applied for 3 consecutive days with an applicator filling (approx. 5 g) before bedtime. The cream is inserted deep into the vagina. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the cream can be used as directed by a doctor. Side effects such as skin irritation, redness, itching and allergic reactions may occur.
