Information for use with the article Nicorette Nicotine Patch 15 mg Nicotine: - Nicorette TX Patches 15 mg is a tobacco cessation product used to treat tobacco dependence by relieving withdrawal symptoms. - The patches can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other forms of administration. - The dosage is based on the smoker's tobacco dependence. - The patches are applied daily to a clean, dry, hairless and uninjured area of skin. - The recommended duration of treatment is 12 weeks. - In case of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, headache and dizziness may occur. - Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age should only be done after consultation with a doctor. - The medicinal product should not be stored above 25°C. Indications: - To support smoking cessation. Dosage and directions for use: - Adults: 1 patch 1 time daily in the morning after getting up. - The patch is left on the skin for 16 hours. - The duration of use is not longer than 6 months. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to the ingredients. - Skin diseases that affect the whole body and/or are chronic. - Other contraindications should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist.
