Area of application

This herbal medicine is traditionally used to support gastrointestinal function, skin function and the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat area.It is a traditional medicine registered for these purposes due to long-term use.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The preparation contains chamomile flower extract and yarrow herb extract as the main active ingredients.The extractants are ethanol 96%, drinking water, ammonia solution 10% and PEG-glycerol hydroxystearate.In addition, ammonia solution, ethanol, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate and purified water are included as excipients.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be used if you are allergic to chamomile, yarrow or other composite plants or to any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It should not be used as a partial or sitz bath for open wounds, large skin injuries, acute skin diseases, high fever or serious infections.Chamomile preparations are not suitable for use on the eyes or as an intestinal rinse.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as described in the instructions for use or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 5 ml of the preparation in a glass of lukewarm water for gargling several times a day.To brush the gums and skin, a few drops of the preparation diluted in water can be applied with a brush or cotton swab.For skin rinses, partial baths or compresses, add approx. 7.5 - 15 ml to 1 liter of body-warm water.It is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.

Adults can take the preparation 1-3 times a day with 2.5 - 5 ml in water or tea to support gastrointestinal function.It is not intended for use in young people under 18 years of age.There are no specific dosage recommendations for people with liver or kidney dysfunction.

Internal use is limited to 2 weeks.The preparation should not be used externally for longer than 1 week to avoid skin drying and irritation.If symptoms or side effects persist, you should consult a doctor.In case of accidental overdose, continue taking as prescribed unless symptoms occur.Forgotten doses should not be made up.

Intake

The medicine can be gargled, brushed on the gums and skin, used for skin rinses, partial baths, compresses or taken orally.You can find more detailed information in the instructions for use.

Patient information

Particular caution is required in the event of persistent gastrointestinal complaints, inflammation or open injuries to the skin or mucous membranes.If you do not feel better after 5 days, contact your doctor.If there are any changes in the appearance of your skin or mucous membranes or your general condition, you should also seek medical advice.You should avoid additional alcohol consumption during internal use.External use is not intended for children under 12 years of age, and adolescents under 18 years of age should not take the product.

There are no studies on the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

Before taking or using this medicine if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.The safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been adequately studied, therefore its use during this period is not recommended.

Kamillan® is not suitable for children under 12 years.External use is safe for children and adolescents over 12 years of age, while internal use is not recommended for adolescents under 18 years of age.Kamillan® is well suited as a medicinal bath additive for sitz and partial baths for various complaints, but not as a nourishing bath additive for a full bath.Due to its good tolerability, the duration of use is not limited in time, but you should seek medical advice if your symptoms do not improve or worsen.The expiry date is printed on the folding box and the bottle label.After opening the bottle, Kamillan® has a shelf life of six months and should not be stored at temperatures above 25°C.

Application

Kamillan® can be used internally and externally.For the throat and throat, add 1 measuring cup of Kamillan® to a glass of lukewarm water and gargle morning and evening.For the oral mucosa, you can make a mouthwash or apply a few drops of Kamillan® diluted with water.If your skin is stressed, you can do a hand, foot or sitz bath with Kamillan®.If you have gastrointestinal complaints, add 2.5 to 5 ml of Kamillan® in tea or water 1 to 3 times a day and drink the liquid completely.
