Instructions for use of the article Salus Einschlaf Kapseln: Important information (obligatory data): Salus Einschlaf-Kapseln. Indications: Nervous sleep disorders. Warning: Contains soya protein. Herbal medicinal product for calming. Area of application: Nervous sleep disorders. How should Salus Einschlaf-Kapseln be used? Dosage instructions, method and duration of use: The following information applies unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor. Please adhere to the dosage instructions, otherwise Einschlaf-Kapseln may not work properly! Dosage: Adults and children over 12 years of age take 2 capsules up to 1 hour before bedtime for the treatment of nervous sleep disorders. Use in children under 12 years of age is not intended. Route of administration: The capsules should only be taken unchewed and with plenty of liquid. Duration of use: The duration of use of Einschlaf-Kapseln is in principle not limited. If the symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks or worsen, you must consult a doctor. Note for diabetics: It is not necessary to take bread units into account. How should Salus Einschlaf-Kapseln be stored? Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and the container (blister) (date after "use by"). Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Do not store above 25 °C. Store in the original pack to protect the contents from moisture. What Salus Einschlaf-Kapseln contain: 1 soft capsule contains as active ingredients: 100.0 mg dry extract of valerian root (3 - 6 : 1), extraction agent: ethanol 70 % (V/V), 30.0 mg dry extract of hop cones (4 - 8 : 1), extraction agent: ethanol 40 % (V/V). Other ingredients: spray-dried glucose syrup, lactose monohydrate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, refined rapeseed oil, partially hydrogenated soya oil, yellow wax, phospholipids from soya beans, succinylated gelatin polysuccinate, glycerol, sorbitol solution 70 % (non-crystallising), purified water, iron (II, III) oxide, iron (Ill) oxide. Mode of action: The ingredients come from various plants and act as a natural mixture. They have an anxiety-relieving, calming and sleep-promoting effect. Contraindications: What are the contraindications to use? - Hypersensitivity to the ingredients What age group should be considered? - Children under 12 years of age: The medicine should not usually be used in this age group. What about pregnancy and breast-feeding? - Pregnancy: According to current knowledge, the medicinal product should not be used. - Breast-feeding: According to current knowledge, use is not recommended. Breast-feeding may have to be considered. If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk involved in using it in the case of a contraindication. Side effects: What undesirable effects may occur? Only side effects that have only occurred in exceptional cases have been described for the medicinal product. If you notice any disturbance or change in your condition during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Important information: What should you be aware of? - Reactivity may be impaired even when used as directed, especially in higher doses or in combination with alcohol. Pay particular attention if you participate in road traffic or operate machinery (also in the household) with which you could injure yourself. - Take care if you are allergic to ascorbic acid (vitamin C)! - Be careful if you have an intolerance to fructose (fruit sugar).
