Directions for use of the article Infectodiarrstop LGG Powder Indications: - InfectoDiarrstop LGG is used for the treatment of diarrhoea in infants and young children. Product characteristics: - InfectoDiarrstop LGG contains a viable microorganism (lactic acid bacterium) for diarrhoea treatment as well as salts and carbohydrates to compensate for salt and fluid losses. - If the child does not feel better or even worse after 2 days, a doctor should be consulted. Dosage and directions for use: - For mild diarrhoea: infants and toddlers up to 23 months receive 1-2 double-chamber sachets divided per day, children from 2 years of age receive 2-3 double-chamber sachets divided per day. - For moderate and severe diarrhoea: During the first 4-6 hours, 50-100 ml of the prepared drinking solution is administered per kilogram of body weight. Thereafter, further administration is done according to the course of the diarrhoea. Side effects: - Nausea and vomiting may occur. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in case of any disturbances of well-being. Composition: - 1 double-chamber bag contains at least 5x10^9 colony-forming units of the lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, freeze-dried, as well as salts and sugar.
