Pernionin Thermo Partial Bath 0.5 g/100 ml bath additive is a medicinal rheumatism bath with a circulation-promoting effect. It is used for the supportive treatment of rheumatic diseases, for the temporary increase of peripheral (superficial) blood circulation and for 1st degree frostbite. Before use, it should be noted that the Thermo Partial Bath must not be used in case of allergic reaction to benzyl nicotinate or other components, in case of severe heart, liver and kidney diseases, inflammatory skin diseases, open wounds, arterial vessel occlusions on limbs, severe diabetic microangiopathies, during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in infants, toddlers and children under 12 years of age. Precautions should be taken in case of major skin injuries, acute and unclear skin diseases, severe febrile and infectious diseases, cardiac insufficiency and high blood pressure. The thermal partial bath must not be used undiluted and should not get into the area of the eyes. The application dose for adults is 5 ml Thermo Partial Bath in one litre of water for hand and foot baths and 10 ml for compresses. The bath time is usually 10 minutes. Possible side effects are individual hypersensitivity reactions such as itching, contact eczema, swelling and redness. A slight burning of the skin as well as reddening of the skin are signs of the effect of the bath. If side effects occur, the application should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted. The Pernionin Thermo Partial Bath is available in packs of 100 ml and 500 ml bath additive. It should not be used for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
