Summary: Cosmopor Advance is a sterile self-adhesive wound dressing that features the innovative DryBarrier technology. This technology allows wound exudate to be absorbed into the wound pad but not released, even under pressure. The dressing has a high absorbency capacity and minimal rewetting, which allows it to remain on the wound longer. It is made of soft non-woven backing with a highly absorbent wound pad. The wound contact layer prevents sticking to the wound and a transfer layer directs the exudate into the absorbent layer. Cosmopor Advance is suitable for post-operative wound care as well as for the sterile treatment of minor injuries. It is skin-friendly and hypoallergenic. The dressing is available in the size 8 cm x 10 cm and was manufactured by PAUL HARTMANN AG.
