Instructions for use of the article Cosmopor Advance 8 cm x 15 cm: Cosmopor Advance is a sterile self-adhesive wound dressing made of soft non-woven backing with a highly absorbent wound pad. It features the innovative DryBarrier technology, which allows wound exudate to be absorbed and not released, even under pressure. This allows the dressing to stay on the wound longer. The dressing has a wound contact layer made of fine-mesh polyethylene mesh that prevents it from sticking to the wound. A transfer layer directs the exudate into the absorbent layer and stores it there to prevent rewetting. The dressing is skin-friendly thanks to the hypoallergenic synthetic adhesive.
