BIOLAN® gel eye drops form a clear protective film for the cornea.The sodium hyaluronate contained, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, creates an even, stable and particularly long-lasting protective film without impairing visual performance.These eye drops provide long-lasting relief from discomfort caused by mechanical stress, environmental stress or visual stress.Mechanical stress can occur, for example, when wearing contact lenses or during diagnostic procedures on the eye.Environmental stress can come from air conditioning, wind, cold, drought or air pollution such as cigarette smoke.Visual stress can occur when working on computer screens, microscopes or during long car journeys.Because they are free of preservatives, BIOLAN® gel is particularly well tolerated even when used over a long period of time and is also suitable for contact lens wearers.

Area of application

BIOLAN® gel eye drops help with stressed, dry and tired eyes.Dusty indoor air, visual stress caused by intense viewing, such as on a computer, or mechanical stress, such as that experienced by contact lens wearers, can lead to burning, foreign body sensations and redness in the eyes. BIOLAN® gel eye drops form a stable and highly tolerable protective film on the eyeball, which allows the eyelids to glide gently and for a long time.

Mode of action

BIOLAN® gel eye drops contain only natural substances, the combination of which is based on the tear fluid in the eye.They are therefore very well tolerated by sensitive eyes and are also suitable for long-term use.After instillation, they immediately bond with the tear film.The long-lasting protective film improves the gliding ability of the eyelids and prevents typical discomfort.In addition, BIOLAN® gel eye drops contain hyaluronic acid, which contributes to the regeneration of corneal cells.

Composition of BIOLAN® gel eye drops: 0.45 ml solution per pipette contains 1.35 mg hyaluronic acid, sodium salt.Other ingredients include sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or have eye infections, this product should not be used.

Dosage

BIOLAN® gel eye drops are available in 60 single-dose containers.To use, carefully separate a single dose from the rest and open it by turning the cap.Now put 1-2 drops in each eye.No prescription is required for this product.

Notes

BIOLAN® gel eye drops do not contain any preservatives.Damaged packs or possible residue from the last application should therefore no longer be used.If you also use other eye drops or eye ointments, the application interval should be 15 minutes. BIOLAN® gel should then always be administered last.Do not use on infected or injured eyes.After use, visual acuity may be temporarily reduced;In this case, do not drive a vehicle or operate machines until normal visual acuity has returned.

Application

Separate a single-dose container and make sure it is undamaged.To open, twist off the flat end of the one-dose container.Tilt your head back a little, look up and pull your lower eyelid slightly away from your eye.Place a drop in the conjunctival sac of the eye 3-5 times daily.Slowly close your eyes to allow the liquid to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.If the symptoms worsen or there is no improvement, please consult your ophthalmologist.
