Description

Passidon capsules are a herbal medicine made from dried herb of passionflower (Passiflora).The ingredients in passionflower have a calming effect on our nervous system.This preparation is used as a sedative for inner restlessness, irritability and nervousness.No prescription is required for this product.

The preparation is a traditional herbal medicine to improve feelings during nervous stress and to support sleep.It is a traditional medicine that is registered for the area of application solely based on long-term use.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One hard capsule contains 260 mg passion flower dry extract, where the extractant is methanol 60% (v/v).The other ingredients include cellulose powder, chlorophyllin copper complex, gelatin, lactose 1-water, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], sodium dodecyl sulfate, silicon dioxide, highly disperse, titanium dioxide, water, purified and 0.01 BE total carbohydrates.

Contraindications

The product must not be taken if you are allergic to passionflower or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 2 hard capsules twice daily.It is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.There is no sufficient data to provide specific dosage recommendations for impaired kidney or liver function.

If your symptoms worsen while using this medicine or persist for more than two weeks, see a doctor.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken more than you should, in this case continue taking it as described in the dosage instructions or as prescribed for you.If you have significantly overdosed on this medicine, you should consult a doctor.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.

Intake

The hard capsules are intended to be taken orally.Please take the hard capsules whole with a little liquid, such as a glass of water.

Patient information

The user should consult a doctor or other qualified person working in a medical profession if symptoms of the disease persist or if side effects other than those mentioned here occur.There are no sufficient studies available for use in children.It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

The medicine may impair the ability to drive and use machines.Impaired patients should not drive or operate machines.

Notes

If the restlessness worsens or there is no improvement after 2 weeks, as with all unclear complaints, a doctor should be consulted.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
