Summary: Mepore is a 35x9 cm wound dressing designed to cover and protect lightly exuding acute wounds. The water-emulsion based polyacrylate adhesive allows the dressing to be fixed gently and securely. Mepore has round corners and a protective layer. Its good absorbent properties make it suitable for the treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, minor burns, cuts and abrasions. It provides increased comfort and can be applied over joints. Mepore is made of viscose fleece with a polymer layer and a gentle and secure self-adhesive wound dressing. It also has excellent absorption properties and a gently adherent wound contact layer. The dressing is sterile unless the inner packaging has been damaged or opened before use. Mepore can be used on a variety of lightly exuding wounds such as post-operative wounds, lacerations and skin abrasions.
