Pascoventral is a herbal medicine used for digestive problems.It is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over and is particularly helpful for mild gastrointestinal cramps, flatulence and a feeling of fullness.The medicinal plants peppermint, caraway and chamomile have long been proven to treat such complaints.

Pascoventral contains fluid extracts of peppermint leaves, chamomile flowers and caraway fruits.More specifically, 1 gram, which corresponds to approximately 42 drops, contains 330 mg of peppermint leaf fluid extract, 330 mg of chamomile flower fluid extract and 340 mg of caraway fruit fluid extract.Ethanol and ammonia solution are used as extraction agents.This medicine contains 681.3 mg of alcohol per 80 drops, which corresponds to 44% alcohol by volume.This amount is equivalent to less than 18 ml of beer or 7 ml of wine.

Mode of action

The ingredients in Pascoventral work in different ways:

Peppermint leaf extract influences the smooth muscles of the digestive tract, has an antispasmodic and anti-flatulent effect and supports fat digestion by increasing bile production.

The chamomile extract inhibits inflammation of the gastrointestinal mucous membranes, protects them and also has an antispasmodic effect.

The caraway fruit extract soothes the stomach, has an antispasmodic effect and increases gastric juice secretion.

Contraindications

Pascoventral should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over should take 80 drops (2 ml) three times a day after or between meals in a little lukewarm liquid.
