Lecicarbon E CO2 Laxans is a medicine for short-term use in constipation. It helps to soften the stool and facilitate bowel emptying. It can also be used in painful anal conditions or before surgery for bowel evacuation. The dosage for adults is 1 suppository per day. The suppository is inserted into the rectum and usually takes effect within 15-30 minutes. If necessary, the application can be repeated after 30 minutes to 1 hour. The medicine should not be used if you are allergic to soya or peanuts or have an intestinal blockage. It should not usually be used in children under 18 years of age unless there are special instructions from the doctor.
