Directions for use of Balneum Hermal F Bath: Balneum Hermal F is a greasy medicinal oil bath used for the supportive treatment of dry, scaly, itchy and sensitive skin such as atopic eczema (neurodermatitis), psoriasis and ichthyosis (fish scale disease). The bath is added to the bath water and mixed well. The bath water temperature should not exceed 36 °C and the bath time should not exceed 15-20 minutes. For babies and small children, an application time of only a few minutes is usually sufficient. For showering, Balneum Hermal F is spread undiluted on the moistened body and then showered off. The dosage depends on the type of bath (full bath, partial bath, shower bath) and can be taken from the package leaflet. The frequency of use depends on the individual complaints and should be determined in consultation with the doctor or pharmacist. For children under 2 years of age, the product should only be used under constant supervision, as oil baths can lead to an increased risk of slipping. After bathing or showering, the skin should only be dabbed lightly so as not to reduce the therapeutic effect.
