Ureotop cream is a dermatic / keratolytic and is used to treat various skin problems. These include excessive keratinisation, milder forms of ichthyosis, prevention of the recurrence of ichthyosis and the treatment of follicular keratinisation disorders, dry, brittle and reddened skin. The cream contains the active ingredient urea and other ingredients such as propylene glycol, butylated hydroxytoluene and cetylstearyl alcohol. Certain precautions should be taken before use, such as avoiding contact with mucous membranes and eyes. In children, the application should be done with caution. Allergic reactions may occur, such as skin irritation, burning, redness, itching or scaling. The cream should be kept out of reach of children and should not be stored above 25 °C.
