Cosmopor® sterile is a self-adhesive wound dressing that consists of a soft carrier fleece and a central wound pad.The wound contact layer consists of a fine-mesh polyethylene net that prevents it from sticking to the wound.The drainage effect of the micro-mesh enables secretions to be drained away quickly.The bandage is characterized by good absorbency and cushioning effect and is skin-friendly because it uses a hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive.

Area of application

This wound dressing is suitable for postoperative wound care as well as for the sterile care of minor injuries, for example as part of first aid.It is particularly suitable for patients with particularly sensitive skin.

Application

Cosmopor® sterile can be used to treat postoperative wounds and primary healing wounds.It is also suitable for absorbing exudate from normally exuding wounds.The bandage can also be used to protect wounds after treatments such as disinfection or wound cleaning.
