Description of the product

This product is a trace element preparation that is used to treat a proven selenium deficiency that cannot be compensated for through nutrition.A selenium deficiency can occur due to disorders of digestion and absorption of nutrients as well as malnutrition and malnutrition.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each tablet contains 0.167 mg sodium selenite pentahydrate, equivalent to 50 mcg selenium (IV) ion.Magnesium stearate, corn starch, povidone K25, sucrose, talc and 23 mg total sodium ion are included as excipients.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to sodium selenite pentahydrate or any of the other ingredients or if you have selenium poisoning.

Dosage and application

The recommended dose is 1 tablet daily, taken with some liquid, preferably a glass of water.The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor and should continue until the selenium status normalizes.Regular checking of the selenium level is recommended.

If you take more than you should, symptoms such as garlicky bad breath, tiredness, nausea, diarrhea and abdominal discomfort may occur.In such cases, gastric lavage or forced diuresis are possible countermeasures.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.
