WAS IST SELENASE 50 AP UND WOFÜR WIRD ES USED? selenase 50 AP is a trace element preparation. Area of application: Proven selenium deficiency that cannot be corrected nutritionally. Selenium deficiency can occur in: - Maldigestion and malabsorption states, - malnutrition and malnutrition. WAS SOLLTEN SIE VOR DER EINNAHME VON SELENASE 50 AP NOTE? selenase 50 AP must not be taken: - if you are allergic to sodium selenite pentahydrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6, - in the event of selenium poisoning. Take selenase 50 AP with other medicines: Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or intend to take any other medicines. The sodium selenite pentahydrate contained in selenase 50 AP may reduce the effectiveness of minerals or trace elements taken at the same time. The simultaneous intake of vitamin C should be avoided. However, the separate intake of selenase 50 AP and e.g. vitamin C with an interval of at least 1 hour is possible. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: There is no restriction if used as directed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking / using any medicinal product. Traffic ability and ability to operate machines: There is no restriction when used as directed. Important information about certain other ingredients of selenase 50 AP: This medicinal product contains sucrose. Please take selenase 50 AP only after consulting your doctor if you are known to have an intolerance to certain sugars. HOW TO TAKE SELENASE 50 WIE IST SELENASE AP ? Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is: 1 tablet daily (equivalent to 50 µg selenium). Take with plenty of liquid with the main meal. Your doctor will decide on the duration of treatment. WELCHE NEBENWIRKUNGEN SIND POSSIBLE? Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. There are no known side effects if used as directed. If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this leaflet. WIE IST SELENASE 50 AP WHERE TO KEEP THIS MEDICINE? Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and the push-through pack. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated. No special storage conditions are required for this medicinal product. Contraindications: - This medicinal product must not be taken if you are allergic to sodium selenite pentahydrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicinal product, or in case of selenium poisoning. - Pregnancy and breast-feeding: According to current knowledge, the medicinal product has no harmful effects. Side effects: No side effects are currently known for the medicinal product. If you notice any disturbance or change in your condition during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
