Hermes Cevitt Orange is a medicine with high doses of vitamin C that is used to treat vitamin C deficiency diseases.The effervescent tablets have a pleasant, fruity taste of orange.The product is free of lubricants and binding agents and contains no sugar, which makes it particularly suitable for diabetics.One effervescent tablet contains only 0.01 bread units (BE).

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Hermes Cevitt Orange is ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in a dosage of 1000 mg per effervescent tablet.The other ingredients include citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate, sodium cyclamate, rice starch, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, mannitol (Ph.Eur.), betanin, sodium (riboflavin-5'-hydrogen phosphate) 2 H 2 O and orange flavor.

Dosage

The usual dose for adults is 1 effervescent tablet, equivalent to 1000 mg ascorbic acid, once daily until symptoms subside.For other intake quantities, preparations with a lower active ingredient content are available.Hermes Cevitt Orange can also be taken as a hot drink in hot water or tea, as the vitamin C it contains is also stable in hot water, unlike vitamin C powder.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.
