Description

Hepagallin N is a herbal medicine made from artichoke leaves.It is used to relieve digestive problems.By stimulating the flow of bile, it improves fat digestion and helps relieve bloating, stomach pain and flatulence.

Areas of application

Hepagallin N is used for digestive disorders, especially for functional disorders of the efferent biliary system.

Contraindications

Hepagallin N must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to artichokes, other composite plants or any of the other ingredients of the drug.The product should also not be used if the bile ducts are blocked.If you have gallstones, consult a doctor before use.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age take two coated tablets three times a day with sufficient liquid, such as a glass of water, after meals.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One coated tablet contains 220 mg dry extract of artichoke leaves (4-6:1), with water serving as the extractant.The other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, highly disperse silicon dioxide, povidone (viscosity K: 25), carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A) (Ph. Eur.), cellulose powder, stearic acid (Ph. Eur.), magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), talc, poly[butylmethacrylat-co-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)methacrylat-co-methylmethacrylat] (1:2:1), sucrose (sucrose), calcium carbonate, spray-driedArabic gum, tragacanth, titanium dioxide (E 171), spray-dried glucose syrup and montan glycol wax.
