Directions for use of Cratae-Loges 450 mg Hawthorn Film-Coated Tablets: Cratae-Loges 450 mg Hawthorn Film-Coated Tablets contain the active substance dry extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers and are used to treat the declining performance of the heart in stage II according to NYHA . The herbal medicinal product is manufactured by Dr. Loges + Co. GmbH and is suitable for adults as well as for adolescents from 12 years of age. Hawthorn has been known as a heart remedy for centuries and works in a complex way. It lowers vascular resistance and improves the body's oxygen supply by supporting the heart's pumping power and maintaining the elasticity of the blood vessels. Cratae-Loges 450 mg Hawthorn Film-Coated Tablets are gluten- and lactose-free. The recommended daily dosage is 1 film-coated tablet twice a day, preferably in the morning and evening. The tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. The full effect is usually reached after 6 weeks, but a noticeable effect can already occur after 3 weeks. The duration of use should be agreed with the doctor treating you. Cratae-Loges 450 mg Hawthorn Film-Coated Tablets are well tolerated and can be taken long-term. Possible side effects have only rarely occurred so far. The medicinal product must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or in children under 12 years of age.
