Summary: Fixomull Stretch is an adhesive dressing for the fixation of wound dressings. It is characterised by its flexibility, secure fixation, good compatibility on sensitive skin and soft material. The dressing consists of a polyester fleece coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. It has been specially developed for secure and comfortable fixation on mobile or strongly contoured parts of the body. Fixomull Stretch offers good immediate and permanent adhesion as well as good air and water vapour permeability. It can be used for fixation of wound dressings, ointment dressings, instruments, probes, catheters and measuring devices. The entire product family of LEUKOPLAST and Fixomull is characterised by water vapour permeable materials and skin-friendly fixation. The dressing can be cut to size and is supple. Fixomull Skin Sensitive is recommended for sensitive skin such as baby skin or skin of the elderly. Fixomull Stretch is used for the fixation of wound dressings and compresses on movable body parts and joints as well as for the fixation of probes, catheters and measuring elements. It can be easily applied to the affected body part by cutting it to size and smoothing it out. The dressing is made of skin-friendly backing material of white polyester fleece and is particularly permeable to water vapour and stretchable. It protects the wound from contamination and promotes undisturbed wound healing. Fixomull LEUKOPLAST Stretch is available in different widths and can be cut individually to the size of the wound. The dressing adheres reliably thanks to the skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. Fixomull Stretch is suitable for the fixation of large wound dressings, gauze pads and absorbent compresses.
