Instructions for use of the article "Oleum Zinci oxidati cum Nystatino SR": Important information: Indications: - For the treatment of nystatin-sensitive yeast infections in inflammatory, eczematous skin lesions, especially napkin dermatitis, soreness in the region of skin folds and at the anus, in yeast infections in the region of the intermediate fingers or toes. Contraindications: - Must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to zinc oxide, nystatin, peanut or soya. - Do not use on large areas (more than 20% of the body surface). Precautions for use and warning: - Particular caution is required when using Oleum Zinci oxidati cum Nystatino SR : (a) Children: due to the high osmolarity of nystatin, use in very underweight and immature premature infants is not recommended. b) Peanut oil may cause localised skin reactions (contact dermatitis) in rare cases. c) and d) Pregnancy and lactation: There are no sufficient data on the use of Oleum Zinci oxidati cum Nystatino SR in pregnancy. It should only be used after a strict risk-benefit assessment. Extensive application and application to the nursing breast should be avoided. Interactions with other agents: - Zinc oxide may limit the effect of other dermatics. - Residues containing zinc oxide should be completely removed before applying other dermatics.
