HEPARIN AL Ointment 50,000 is used as a supportive treatment for acute swelling following blunt injuries such as bruises and bruises.The active ingredient heparin sodium promotes the breakdown of blood clots and metabolic products that accumulate in the tissue and has a decongestant and circulation-promoting effect.

100 g HEPARIN AL Ointment 50,000 contains 0.25 g heparin sodium (porcine mucosa), equivalent to 50,000 IU. The other ingredients are sorbic acid and potassium sorbate as preservatives, emulsifying cetostearyl alcohol (type A) (Ph. Eur.), medium-chain triglycerides, oleyl oleate,Propylene glycol, levomenthol, citric acid, all-rac-α-tocopherol, palmitoyl ascorbic acid (Ph. Eur.), sodium edetate (Ph. Eur.), purified water and perfume oil Sport PH.
Contraindications
HEPARIN AL Ointment 50,000 should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients.The ointment must also not be used if there is an acute or known history of an allergic drop in the number of blood platelets (thrombocytopenia type II) caused by heparin.
Dosage
The recommended dose is a small strand of ointment applied thinly and evenly to the affected area of skin 2 to 3 times a day.It should not be used for longer than 10 days unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor.
Intake
The ointment should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected area.Make sure that the ointment does not come into contact with your eyes and then wash your hands thoroughly.The ointment should not be applied to open wounds, mucous membranes, inflamed areas of skin or weeping eczema.
