The soft zinc paste is a wound healing agent intended for external use.It supports the therapy of subacute and chronic eczema, helps with sore skin in the intertriginous area due to chafing and moisture, with diaper rash and to cover the area around lower leg ulcers (ulcus cruris).No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The soft zinc paste contains zinc oxide as the active ingredient in a concentration of 30 g per 100 g paste.The other ingredients are thick paraffin, white petroleum jelly and bleached wax.

Area of application

This preparation is used externally to support the therapy of subacute and chronic eczema, for soreness of the skin in the intertriginous area due to chafing and moisture, for diaper rash and to cover the area around lower leg ulcers (ulcus cruris).

Contraindications

This medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to zinc oxide or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage and method of administration

Always use the medicine exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.Unless otherwise prescribed, the preparation is applied to the affected skin areas once or several times a day and covered with gauze.

If you have used more medicine than you should and you experience symptoms due to the higher dose, please contact your doctor.This can decide on any necessary measures if necessary.The side effects listed under side effects may occur more frequently.

Intake

Unless otherwise prescribed, the preparation is applied to the affected skin areas once or several times a day and covered with gauze.The zinc oxide contained in the medicine can get stuck in the laundry and is then difficult to remove.Therefore, cover the wound area treated with the soft paste with a gauze pad, plaster or bandage.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
