Intake and dosage

Ambroxol AL juice is taken after meals using the measuring cup.The dosage depends on age and severity of the disease.For children up to 2 years of age, the recommended dose is 2.5 ml of solution twice daily (equivalent to 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).Children aged 2 to 5 years should take 2.5 ml of solution 3 times a day (equivalent to 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).Children aged 6 to 12 years receive 5 ml of solution 2 to 3 times daily (equivalent to 30 - 45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over usually take 10 ml of solution (equivalent to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day) 3 times a day for the first 2 - 3 days and then 10 ml solution (equivalent to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day) 2 times a day.

Instructions for use

If the condition worsens or there is no improvement after 4-5 days, medical advice should be sought.Ambroxol AL juice contains sorbitol, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol and benzyl alcohol.Children under 2 years of age may only take Ambroxol AL juice on medical advice.

In addition to the active ingredient ambroxol hydrochloride, Ambroxol AL juice contains the following excipients: glycerol, hyetellose, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sorbitol 70 (= fructose), purified water and raspberry flavor.
