Description

Alcohol 70% vol. Hetterich is a disinfectant that is used for hygienic skin and hand disinfection as well as for cooling compresses.The active ingredient ethanol in a concentration of 70% (V/V) is effective against germs and bacteria.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

This disinfectant is suitable for hygienic hand disinfection and can also be used for cooling compresses.It is not suitable for disinfecting large, open wounds or for storing sterile instruments and syringes as it does not have a spore-killing effect.

Application

For hygienic hand disinfection, the hands are rubbed with the solution and kept moist for at least a minute.For cold compresses, the solution should be diluted with equal parts water.The exposure time can be extended depending on how dirty the skin is or additional difficulties.

Side effects

When rubbing the skin with alcohol 70% by volume Hetterich, redness and a slight burning sensation may occur.However, these side effects are not to be expected for every user.

Storage

The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date stated on the label.It is highly flammable and should be kept away from sources of ignition.If the solution is spilled, measures against fire and explosion must be taken immediately.
