Directions for use of the article Viacutan Plus Vet Viacutan Plus is a dietary supplement for dogs and cats specially formulated for pets with skin and coat disorders. It contains an optimal combination of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are important for the well-being of the animals. The tasteless capsules can be given directly into the animal's mouth or mixed with the food. Viacutan Plus should be administered once a day. The composition consists of vegetable oil (borage), fish oil and gelatine. Each capsule contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), linoleic acid (LA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). In addition, turmeric extract, rosemary extract, green tea extract and extracts rich in vitamin E are included. Essential fatty acids are necessary to keep the skin and coat in good condition. Viacutan Plus can help to alleviate skin and coat conditions. Studies have shown that additional administration of this supplement can significantly reduce the dose of prednisolone in atopic dermatitis. The recommended dosage is based on the body weight of the animal. Dogs up to 10 kg should receive one capsule per day, dogs up to 25 kg two capsules and dogs over 25 kg three capsules per day.
