EquiDigest liquid is a dietary supplement for horses that has been specially developed to support digestion.Nowadays, horses hardly receive any wild herbs from standard feed, which grow naturally in species-rich meadows and promote digestion.EquiDigest liquid supplements the low-herb diet with valuable secondary plant substances that stimulate digestive processes.By combining various plant components and inactivated yeast, it helps to compensate for inadequate small intestinal functions.

Mode of action and ingredients

Gentian, rhubarb and celandine stimulate digestive activity, while chamomile, caraway, peppermint and fennel soothe and relax the intestines.Blackberry leaves soothe the stomach and intestinal mucosa.Inactivated yeast promotes the restoration of the natural microflora in the intestines.Flavorings such as milk thistle extract, artichoke extract, licorice root extract and curcuma extract improve palatability and digestibility.

Composition and analytical components

EquiDigest liquid consists of linseed oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil and brewer's yeast.It contains dried and ground plant parts such as peppermint leaves, chamomile flowers, celandine, fennel seeds, blackberry leaves, gentian root and rhubarb root.The analytical components include crude protein (1.7%), crude fat (49.2%), sodium (0.1%), crude fiber (1.2%), crude ash (1.3%) and moisture (43%).

Additives

Per 1000 ml, EquiDigest liquid contains 50,000 mg lecithins as well as flavorings such as milk thistle extract (25 ml), artichoke extract (15 ml), licorice root extract (15 ml) and turmeric extract (15 ml).

Feeding recommendation

EquiDigest liquid can be administered with food or directly into the mouth.The recommended dosage is 30 ml twice daily for horses and 20 ml twice daily for foals and ponies. If necessary, the dose can be increased to three times daily.The recommended feeding period is initially up to 6 months.It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before feeding or extending the feeding period.

Instructions for storage and use

Before use, EquiDigest liquid should be shaken well.It should not be stored above 25°C and protected from light.The product must be used up after opening.No prescription is required for this product.
