Directions for use of Advantage 80 mg Cat + Pet Rabbit. Advantage 80 mg is a solution for application to the skin of small cats and small pet rabbits, used for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations in cats and pet rabbits. The solution contains the active ingredient imidacloprid and kills fleas within one day of treatment. The single treatment is effective for 3 to 4 weeks in cats and up to one week in pet rabbits. Advantage 80 mg can also be used to control allergic dermatitis caused by flea bites, provided it has been previously diagnosed by a vet. It is important to read the package leaflet and consult your vet or pharmacist if you have any questions. The treatment is not suitable for suckling puppies under 8 weeks of age, rabbits intended for human consumption and ornamental rabbits younger than 10 weeks of age.
