Area of application

The vitamin preparation is used to treat vitamin E deficiency.However, it is not suitable if the absorption of vitamin E from the intestine is impaired.In such cases, injection solutions are the better choice.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in this preparation is RRR-alpha-tocopherol, with an amount of 600 IE and 402.68 mg RRR-alpha-tocopherol equivalent per soft capsule.The excipients include gelatin, glycerol 85%, soybean oil and sorbitol solution 70%, crystallizing.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to vitamin E or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as directed.The usual dose for adults is 1 to 2 soft capsules daily, corresponding to 400 to 800 mg RRR-alpha-tocopherol.The duration of use depends on the course of the underlying disease.No prescription is required for this product.

If you have taken a larger amount than intended, there are no known dangerous symptoms.Don't forget to compensate for a dose by taking it twice.

Intake

Take the soft capsules whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water.

Particular caution is required if you are also taking medicines to inhibit blood clotting or have a vitamin K deficiency.In these cases you should consult your doctor.

No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

You should consume 13 mg of vitamin E daily during pregnancy and 17 mg while breastfeeding.Vitamin E crosses the placenta and enters breast milk.

Notes

The effect of vitamin E can be reduced by taking iron supplements at the same time.Therefore, keep an interval of 4 hours.
