Senega Pentarkan S tablets are a homeopathic medicine for the treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract, especially chronic inflammation of the bronchi (bronchitis). It contains five ingredients that complement each other well in the treatment of chronic bronchitis and all have a special relationship to the respiratory organs. In this respect, Senega Pentarkan S is particularly suitable for chronic bronchitis with abundant viscous phlegm, as is typically found in elderly people and heavy smokers. It must not be used in children under 6 years of age and during pregnancy and lactation, or in cases of hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or other constituents. A doctor should be consulted in case of fever, purulent or bloody sputum as well as in case of persistent, unclear or newly occurring complaints. The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1 tablet 1 to 3 times a day, taken half an hour before or after meals. Side effects are possible, but not in every user. No harmful effects are known in case of overdose. If the application is forgotten, a double dose should not be taken. The application can be discontinued at any time without any harmful effects. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are further questions on the use. The tablets should be kept out of reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
