Dona 250mg coated tablets belong to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic agents.They are used to relieve symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee joint.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Dona 250mg is taken after a medical diagnosis to relieve symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee joint.The gluten- and lactose-free product has decades of therapeutic experience that prove its good tolerability.It has a targeted effect on knee pain and improves the mobility of the knee joint.The active ingredient, crystalline glucosamine hemisulfate, is obtained using a patented process and promotes the regeneration of cartilage tissue.

Mode of action

Dona 250mg contains crystalline glucosamine hemisulfate as the active ingredient.Glucosamine and chondroitin are important components of our cartilage tissue and have an anti-inflammatory effect.This means that knee pain caused by joint inflammation can be relieved with Dona 250mg.Glucosamine hemisulfate is also a natural component of synovial fluid and cartilage matrix.It stimulates the building processes in the knee joint to prevent further cartilage damage.

1 coated tablet Dona 250mg contains the following active ingredients and other ingredients:

Active ingredient: 314 mg glucosamine hemisulfate - sodium chloride (1:1), equivalent to 250 mg glucosamine hemisulfate or 196 mg glucosamine.

Other ingredients: Carmellose sodium, croscarmellose sodium, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) (Ph. Eur.) 250000, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, sodium chloride, colloidal silicon dioxide, glucose syrup, sucrose, macrogol glycerol ricinoleate(Ph.Eur.) 35, Povidone K 25, Dimeticon-alpha-Octadecyl-omega-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)-x-sorbic acid water (35:1.5:0.1:63.4), talc, triethyl citrate, white clay, titanium dioxide, montan glycol wax.

Contraindications

Dona 250mg should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to glucosamine or any of the other ingredients, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to shellfish, as glucosamine is obtained from them.

Dosage

Adults take 1500 mg of Dona® daily, which corresponds to taking 2 tablets 3 times.The coated tablets should be taken whole with meals and with sufficient liquid.If the symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 2-3 months, a doctor should be consulted.

Intake

The film-coated tablets should be taken whole with plenty of water or a suitable liquid, preferably in the morning and evening with meals.

Patient information

Monitoring of blood lipid levels is recommended for patients with a known risk of cardiovascular disease.Asthma patients should be prepared for possible worsening of asthma symptoms.Due to the lack of data on safety and effectiveness, the film-coated tablets are not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.No specific studies have been carried out in elderly patients or patients with impaired liver or kidney function.If you experience dizziness or dizziness, it is recommended that you refrain from driving or operating machines.

Pregnancy
