Instructions for use for dona® 250 mg tablets, 240 pcs

Dona® 250 mg coated tablets

Dona 250mg coated tablets belong to a group of medicines called other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory) and anti-rheumatic (anti-rheumatic) medicines. The tablets are used to relieve symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee joint. No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Dona 250mg is taken after a previous medical diagnosis to relieve symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis (joint wear) of the knee joint. The gluten- and lactose-free product has decades of therapeutic experience that prove the good tolerability of Dona 250mg.Dona 250mg has a targeted effect on knee pain. The active ingredient, obtained using a patented process, has been proven to improve the mobility of the knee joint.

Mode of action

What's special about Dona 250mg: Dona 250mg contains crystalline glucosamine hemisulfate as the active ingredient.Glucosamine and chondroitin are important components in our cartilage tissue; among other things, they have an anti-inflammatory effect. This means that knee pain caused by joint inflammation can also go away with Dona 250mg.Glucosamine hemisulfate is also a natural component of synovial fluid and cartilage matrix. It stimulates the building processes in the knee joint so that the cartilage damage does not progress further.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

1 coated tablet Dona 250mg contains: Active ingredient: 314 mg glucosamine hemisulfate - sodium chloride (1:1), equivalent to 250 mg glucosamine hemisulfate or 196 mg glucosamine.Other ingredients: Carmellose sodium, croscarmellose sodium, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) (Ph. Eur.) 250000, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, sodium chloride, colloidal silicon dioxide, glucose syrup, sucrose, macrogol glycerol ricinoleate(Ph.Eur.) 35, Povidone K 25, Dimeticon-alpha-Octadecyl-omega-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)-x-sorbic acid water (35:1.5:0.1:63.4), talc, triethyl citrate, white clay, titanium dioxide, montan glycol wax.

Ingredients

Active ingredient per 1 tablet: 314.02 mg D-glucosamine hemisulfate sodium chloride from shellfish = 250 mg D-glucosamine hemisulfate from shellfish = 196.28 mg D-glucosamine from shellfish.Other ingredients: carmellose sodium, croscarmellose sodium, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate (vegetable), microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, sodium chloride, colloidal silicon dioxide, glucose solution, sucrose, PEG-35 castor oil, povidone K25,Dimeticon-a-Octadecyl-ω-hydroxypoly-(oxyethylene)-sorbic acid water (35:1.5:0.1:63.4), talc, triethyl citrate, white clay, titanium dioxide, montan glycol wax.

Osteoarthritis and what you can do about it

If the knee initially feels stiff after rest and hurts when moving or later even when resting, it may be due to osteoarthritis.Knee osteoarthritis is often viewed as normal, age-related wear and tear.Nevertheless, excessive and incorrect loading and, above all, excess weight are often triggers for knee joint wear.Around 75 percent of all people over 50 show signs of osteoarthritis in the knee. This refers to changes in the joint that cause the bone surface to become harder and rougher after cartilage loss due to excessive or incorrect loading. This causes tendons and ligaments to become irritated, causing pain.Osteoarthritis develops in different ways - but in any case it can significantly limit mobility and quality of life.Unfortunately, osteoarthritis cannot be cured. But in an early stage, further deterioration can be effectively counteracted with DONA®: The mobility of the knee joints can be maintained and the pain can be alleviated with regular intake of DONA®.

Effective cartilage protection

The active ingredient crystalline glucosamine hemisulfate belongs to the group of NSAR (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory anti-inflammatory drugs) and anti-rheumatic (anti-rheumatic drugs) drugs and its formulation is particularly stable.By enriching the glucosamine that occurs naturally in the body, further loss of cartilage can be reduced and the regeneration of cartilage tissue can be promoted.Since the active ingredient is rarely absorbed through food, glucosamine hemisulfate is a useful addition to the daily diet. The effectiveness and tolerability were also confirmed in long-term studies.Glucosamine hemisulfate is available in tablet form but also as a powder to make a solution.

ANWENDUNGSEMPFEHLUNG

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, adults take 1500 mg DONA® daily. One sachet of DONA® 1500 mg powder is dissolved in a glass of liquid and drunk with a meal. DONA® tablets can be taken in several doses per day with a glass of liquid with meals. However, if the symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 2 - 3 months, a doctor should be consulted.

BLOSS NICHT STRAIN?

The previous recommendations to protect the knee joints when there is pain are long outdated: well-trained muscles stabilize and protect the joints. In addition, regular exercise ensures that the joint cartilage is supplied with nutrients. Therefore, on the one hand, special exercises that the physiotherapist can suggest are crucial for the positive development of knee problems. On the other hand, endurance sports that are gentle on the knees (such as Nordic walking or cycling) - but also mindful movement patterns (e.g. Tai Chi, Chi Gong) can have a positive effect on the joints. Also preventive. DONA® can provide the damaged cartilage with glucosamine themisulfate, thereby delaying the progression of knee arthrosis and permanently alleviating the symptoms caused by arthrosis.

WAS MAN NOCH TUN KANN

If you want to do your knees good, you should pay attention to your weight. One of the main risk factors for osteoarthritis is being overweight.A look at the scale shows whether the weight needs to be optimized.Exercise - and especially diet - can give the body positive impulses.A wholesome, low-fat, low-calorie diet that is rich in vitamins and fiber helps keep the pounds under control.Since natural glucosamine suppliers (foods with a high proportion of cartilage or connective tissue) are very rarely on the menu today, long-term consumption of DONA® as a tablet or in the form of powder for making a solution can significantly improve glucosamine absorption and thus also knee problems.

AUCH SPORTLER HABEN KNEES"

Younger and athletic people are also affected by knee pain. The reason here is more likely to be incorrect footwear, a misalignment (e.g. knock-knees) or excessive enthusiasm for training. This can lead to osteoarthritis, tendon irritation and pain.If the pain occurs behind the kneecap when going down stairs, the tendons that attach to the kneecap are usually overloaded. The so-called runner's knee is often responsible for pain on the outside of the knee (overuse of an external tendon plate). There are similar reasons for pain on the inside of the knee.Pain in the back of the knee is rare. This is usually caused by a meniscus injury. If knee pain persists for a long time, you should see a specialist to confirm the diagnosis. He can best decide what specifically helps against the symptoms.

Frequently asked questions & Answers

How long does the medicine DONA® last? The expiry date for all dosage forms refers to the last day of the specified month. After that, the medication should no longer be taken. When is the pain-relieving effect of DONA® noticeable?Although DONA® works much earlier, the pain-relieving effect after taking DONA® can only be felt after 4 to 6 weeks. Therefore, DONA® should be used as long-term therapy and, if necessary, supplemented with anti-rheumatic drugs (NSAR) for acute pain until the pain-relieving effect of DONA® occurs. Is DONA® also suitable for use by children and adolescents?Due to the lack of data on safety and effectiveness, DONA® preparations should not be taken in either powder or tablet form by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Is it safe to take DONA® during pregnancy or breastfeeding?Dona® preparations should not be taken during pregnancy.Taking glucosamine hemisulfate while breastfeeding is also not recommended.
