Summary: The folic acid forte Hevert ampoules are used for the therapy of folic acid deficiencies in dialysis patients when oral folic acid substitution is not possible and the standard dosage is not sufficiently effective. The ampoules should be administered intramuscularly or intravenously under medical supervision. An overdose may lead to various undesirable side effects.
