Active ingredients and ingredients

Zinc paste LAW contains the following active ingredients and excipients:

Active ingredient: 200 mg zinc oxide per 1 gram of paste.

Excipients: white petroleum jelly, talc, thin paraffin, wool wax, medium-chain triglycerides, glycerol monostearate 40-50%, bleached wax and butylhydroxytoluene.

Area of application

Zinc paste LAW is used for the covering and protective treatment of acute and subacute skin diseases.It binds wound secretions and supports the healing of the skin.

Application and dosage

The paste should be applied evenly to the affected skin areas once or several times a day.If necessary, the treated area can be covered with gauze.

The thread and the tube opening should be cleaned of any residue with a little cellulose after use and before closing the tube.

Contraindications

Zinc paste LAW must not be used if you are allergic to zinc or any of the other ingredients.Wool wax can trigger localized skin reactions.Butylhydroxytoluene can cause localized skin irritation, irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.

Patient information

When used on large areas of skin, no more than 20% of the body surface should be treated.

When used in the genital and anal area, the excipients can lead to a reduction in tear resistance and thus an impairment of the safety of condoms when latex condoms are used at the same time.

No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Zinc paste LAW can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if used as intended and following the dosage instructions.However, large area application should be avoided, especially on the breast in breastfeeding women.

Notes

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
