Instructions for use of the article Fixomull Stretch 10 cm x 20 m Fixomull Stretch is an adhesive dressing for the fixation of wound dressings. It is flexible, secure in fixation and well tolerated by sensitive skin. The dressing consists of a polyester fleece coated with polyacrylate adhesive. Fixomull Stretch has been specially developed for secure and comfortable fixation on areas of the body that move a lot or are strongly contoured. It is ideal for the full-surface fixation of wound dressings, ointment dressings, instruments, probes, catheters and measuring devices. Due to its transverse elasticity, it adapts well to the body and prevents strangulation, congestion and circulatory problems. The dressing has good immediate and permanent adhesion as well as good air and water vapour permeability. It prevents contamination and is also well tolerated by skin-sensitive persons. The entire LEUKOPLAST and Fixomull product family was developed by experts to ensure reliable and skin-friendly fixation. The products are characterised by water vapour permeable materials and a perfect combination of skin-friendly adhesive and backing materials. Fixomull Stretch is suitable for the fixation of wound dressings and compresses on mobile body parts and joints. The dressing can be cut to size and is supple. The required amount should be cut off for application. One half of the protective film is peeled off and the dressing is stuck to the affected part of the body.
